Prevanto Monitor

Our calculations are based on the most recent Swisscanto Pension Fund Study. Swisscanto surveys the individual coverage ratios of pension funds on an annual basis. The performance of the assets during the year is simulated by Prevanto for each pension fund using index performances, under the assumption that no rebalancing occurs. Changes in pension obligations are calculated for each pension fund using the recalculated target returns from the previous year. Weighted averages are used for the key figure estimates at the aggregate level. Since averages have only a very limited informative value, each pension fund must be analysed individually.

Prevanto meets the public’s need for more transparency with the monthly Prevanto Monitor, even during the year. Prevanto is convinced that this will strengthen confidence in the 2nd pillar.
