Stephan Wyss (1966) is a founding partner of Prevanto AG. He is a licensed expert for occupational pensions and is responsible for various large and medium-sized pension funds in a wide range of sectors, in particular for various cantonal pension funds.

Stephan Wyss completed his studies in business administration at the University of St. Gallen and has been a Swiss certified accountant since 1996. dipl. Pension insurance expert. As part of this professional training, he dedicated his thesis to the asset-liability analysis of pension funds. He also holds a federal diploma in financial analysis and asset management.

From 2005 until Prevanto AG was founded in 2015, Stephan Wyss was Head of Consulting at Swisscanto Vorsorge AG Zurich. Stephan Wyss worked as a director for PricewaterhouseCoopers from 1999 until the “Actuarial Benefits & Insurance Solutions” department was taken over by Swisscanto Pension Ltd. He previously worked for a competitor and a major Swiss bank for seven years.

Stephan Wyss has over 30 years of experience in the Swiss pension market and, in addition to the traditional expert business, specializes in public pension funds, international accounting issues and asset-liability analyses. He has been involved in numerous due diligence mandates to assess the risks of pension solutions. As a long-standing expert in the pension market and thanks to his broad specialist knowledge, he provides his clients with valuable and comprehensive services.

Stephan Wyss is a member of the Swiss Association of Actuaries and an examiner for the main examination as pensions insurance expert. In addition, he was a board member of the Swiss Chamber of Pension Actuaries.
